OPEN CALL: EXCHANGE RESIDENCY FOR CZECH ARTISTS

Petrohradská kolektiv is a Czech artist-run initiative, residency and workplace with its own cultural production and lively public programme. As a meeting point of experiments and contemporary arts, Petrohradská kolektiv wants to contribute to arts and culture in our society by supporting, presenting and producing art projects. Artists working within Petrohradská kolektiv get space, freedom and the opportunity to meet and work with other Czech and foreign artists.

The organization has now launched an open call for applications for a two-month (15.10 until 15.12 2024) residency at Jester. This opportunity is open to artists based in the Czech Republic, and expands Petrohradská kolektiv's activities to include collaborative residency opportunities abroad, opening the door for Czech artists to international cultural exchange. The residency includes accommodation and use of the facilities at Jester (with a choice of 2 disciplines including ceramic, wood, metal, or digital/print). Jester will also provide (part-time) artistic and productional support. Travel expenses up to €500 are covered by the organization, and an artist fee of €2,000 will be provided.
