On the weekend of May 25, Jester's inaugural exhibition was festively opened.
It was a special and memorable moment for the Jester team. After months of planning and preparation in the brand new building, it was finally time to present our first exhibition in the art hall. 'Impossible Songs' by Polish artist Mikołaj Sobczak was already an ambitious and multi-layered production, with an audiovisual presentation, seven painted and printed panels, and three decorated set pieces. The exhibiton was entirely produced in-house during Mikołaj's residency.
Just before the public opening on May 25, Jester invited our 10 partners in the Euregio project Elements, as a host for the opening reception of this collaboration. Visitors were shown around by curator Valentina Bianchi and Mikołaj himself, who provided each work with a detailed and personal explanation.
The exhibition is now open to the public free of charge every week from Wednesday to Sunday and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
