FLACC Residencies 2017

The following artists fulfilled a residency at FLACC in 2017. For more information on their art practice and residency fulfilment, please refer to FLACC's yearbooks (a copy is available in Jester's archive).

David Bade & Martha Tirzo: Through artistic co-creation, Bade & Tirzo created 2 sculptures for the Genk district of Sledderlo.

Chloë Delanghe: Brussels-based visual artist and photographer/filmmaker. Through family stories, personal observations and memories, Delanghe creates an intimate universe in which it is not always clear what is fiction and what is not. At FLACC, she made the film Magic, a portrait of Joris about her own brother. She filmed him playing the card game 'Magic The Gathering'.

Nick Geboers: During his stay, the Belgian photographer worked on an investigation into the capabilities of the Fernkamera.

Yuri Pattison

Stef Renard: Renard worked on his video The Groupies.

Grace Schwindt: During her residency, Schwindt had the opportunity to conduct in-depth research on sculptural materials.

Jelena Vanoverbeek: The British multimedia artist conducted research for the publication of her book 'ENGLISH SHOP FRONTS FROM CONTEMPORARY SOURCE BOOKS'.
