Slow Reading Club

Slow Reading Club is a semi-fictional book club founded in 2016 by Bryana Fritz and Henry Andersen. Their collective reading sessions place the physical activity of reading in a deliberately constructed and manipulated context. The participants are invited to approach the selected texts in different ways, and meanwhile the reading activity is executed, helped or hindered.

During their residency at Jester SRC works towards the publication of their publishing project 'Learning'.

SRC has organized Slow Reading Sessions at places like WIELS and La Loge (Brussel), Cabaret Voltaire (Zurich), Dortmunder Kunstverein, MAK Schindler House (LA) and Ltd Academy (Zürich).
